Prayer Update – Victoria Murray

Victoria Murray’s surgery turned out to be less serious than originally thought. Instead of a tumor they found a slipped or bulging disk which they fixed.  She made it through surgery just fine.

Prayer Request – Dennis Thurmond

Dennis Thurmond is being transferred to Des Moines for bypass surgery since the stent did not work.

Praise Report – JoAnn Schauer

JoAnn Schauer was taken to the ER at St. Mary’s last Friday.  The diagnosis was diverticulitis with possible surgery required.  She is home now and said thanks to prayer she escaped surgery this time.

Prayer Request – Dennis Thurmond

Dennis Thurmond, Deb Webb’s brother, will be undergoing an emergency heart procedure.  The procedure may become open heart surgery.  Please pray that this will not become open heart surgery.

Dennis is a Cancer survivor times 2, once with non hodgekins lymphoma and once with colon cancer.  He will be having this procedure in Iowa where he lives.

Prayer Request – Marsha Wilson

Marsha Wilson’s recent heart cath found that the repair from a couple of months ago failed.  She has a 3:30pm Wednesday 4/29 appointment with cardiologists at University Hospital to determine the next step.

Danny Johnson has developed complications from his recent chemo.  Please keep him in your prayers.

Victoria Murray, April Smith’s mom, was scheduled for back surgery at University Hospital April 27th.

Please pray for Bro. Frank.  He just received a report of a significant blood pressure problem.

Services for Geneva Thompson

Visitation for Geneva Thompson will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church Saturday, April 25th.  Funeral services follow at 11:30 a.m.  Lunch for the family in the activities building will follow services.

Geneva Thompson passed away early this morning at Capital Region.  Funeral arrangements are pending.  Please pray for her family.
