Prayer Update – Nicole Hartman

Nicole is out of surgery & no further tissue had to be removed.  The Dr. explained the new tiny capilary tissue that starts to grow from her tissue is what he needs to see now.  That’s what allows them to start to think about closing the wounds.  He’s not seeing that yet.  That’s also the issue with diabetees, getting that smallest of tisssue to start growing back.  So, another inspection Friday & Monday at this point.  The surgeon today was Dr. Barnes’ partner who has worked on her also already.  Dr. Barnes had indicated to us that these surgeries would continue throughout this week & next.  So, pray for small capilary tissue growth!  Hopefully keeping the surgar level regulated which they have been, & her overal condition improving is the key to this.  Don’t know if they will want to continue with more hyperbaric chamber treatments or not.  That is what that’s all about, stimulating circulating & healing so we’ll see.

Prayer Update – Nicole Hartman

From Nicole’s parents:

“We’ve had a great morning in that the Dr. said to get her vent out, things are still improving. So the vent’s out & with the aid of a little O2 she’s doing good. Kidneys urine is getting better-smarter as Dr. Barnes says. We got back to see her just as her team & the surgeon were accessing her so the vent coming out happened pretty fast. Dr. Barnes gave us all good indications. Again he’s been a very cautious man all along, so we’re trusting these steps are warranted or he wouldn’t be going there. Lungs have quite a bit of cruddy stuff to cough up & out. She has lots of discomfort that they will balance with enough pain meds to not suppress her breathing but yet keep her comfortable. No other issues on his immediate radar. Still surgery tomorrow to clean & inspect wounds. He said even 24 hrs. off the vent will be a good thing for her based on her progress.

Praise the Lord–we like this direction!

God Bless & continued appreciation for all your prayers, love & support. We’ve got to believe the Lord’s switchboard has been lighting up for several days now & he’s working overtime to answer all the calls!

Steve, Nancy, Robb & NICOLE Hartman”
