I'm New
Welcome to Union Hill. We're saving a seat for you!
Why go to church?
When God calls us into a relationship with Him, He adopts us into His family. Being in a relationship with God means living and working together in His family. A church is, above all else, a small part of God’s family that is learning to live and love like Jesus. As God’s family, we support each other, comfort each other, and help each other grow. Like any family, sometimes we hurt each other. Many times, these hurts are easy to talk out, forgive, and heal, but sometimes they can be deep wounds. God tells us to love and help each other in good times and through deep pain. It is in this process, with our church family, that we become more like Jesus. God talks to each of us directly through the Holy Spirit, but none of us can live the life God wants alone. We belong to Him, so we belong with each other.

Your Questions Answered
What to Expect?
Worship services include singing, prayer, and preaching, and last about an hour. At our 8:30 service, our music is mainly hymns, and we are accompanied by a piano. Our 11:00 service has music you might hear on Christian radio, and we are led by a band. You will be greeted at the door and probably by some people in our auditorium. We want you to feel welcome, but we will not call attention to you or single you out at any time.
What to Wear?
You will find people at Union Hill in almost all kinds of clothes. Some will wear dresses or jackets and button-down shirts, and some will wear shorts and t-shirts. Most will be somewhere in between. We care a lot more about you than your clothes!
Where Should I Go?
Our main building is closer to the street and has the steeple on it. We meet for worship in the auditorium in our main building. You should be greeted at the door by people who will be happy to help you find your way. If not, the auditorium is in the center of the building. If you have preschoolers, you are welcome to check them into our preschool area, which is on the south side of our building. If you park in the main parking lot and enter the door facing that parking lot, the preschool area is down the hallway to your left. If at any point you are lost, try to look confused! Someone will ask if they can help very soon.
Do You Have Stuff for Kids?
We do! We provide childcare for preschoolers during each of our morning worship services. We have groups for all ages during our connection group time, which is 9:45-10:45 on Sunday mornings. Summit Kids meet on Wednesdays during the school year from 6-7 pm in our gym. We have groups for kids who turned 4 by the start of the school year through our 5th graders and programming for our teenagers, as well.
