Our staff would love to get to know you in person. In the meantime, here are a few details on our staff here at Union Hill.
When did you join the staff at Union Hill?
I joined Union Hill as Associate Pastor in July 2004. I became Lead Pastor in January 2020.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
“What love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called the children of God. And that is what we are!” This is the first part of 1 John 3:1. Honorable mention goes to Psalm 74:14 because it suggests the existence of a multi-headed creature. What?!
What do you like to do for fun?
I love swimming, hiking, cycling, and camping. Amy and I like making and sharing meals with friends, especially if we can combine that with sitting on our deck or around our fire pit. I also enjoy reading and almost any kind of movie that’s not horror.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
“When they observed the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy board games, riding my bike, hanging out with my family, and helping coach the Holts Summit Heat cross country team.
When did you join the staff at Union Hill? I became the part-time Minister of Music in June 2010 and added the part-time Ministry Assistant position in June 2020.
What is your favorite Bible verse? “Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness!” Lamentations 3:21-23
What do you like to do for fun?I like tie-dying, acrylic painting, puzzles, and reading. I enjoy spending time with my pets: 3 dogs, 2 birds, and a cat. Most of all, I love taking vacation time with my family; skiing, hiking, and whitewater rafting.
