Connection Groups
Everyone belongs somewhere
Connection groups are small groups that meet to engage God’s word and connect with other people. The Bible studies are designed so that someone can join in any meeting. All of our groups for adults are open to any adults, but most of them have some common demographics, such as retirees, parents of teenagers, young adults with no kids or very young kids, for example. We encourage everyone to try out a couple and find one that suits you best. We believe that connecting with a smaller group where you can participate in the discussion is essential for growing spiritually.
Kids Connection Groups
Age-appropriate classes from birth through 5th grade meet Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.
Youth Connection Groups
Middle and high school students meet in the youth room, located in our Activities Building, on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am for fellowship and Bible study.
Adult Connection Groups
Multiple classes for adults of all ages and life stages meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.
Preschoolers
Preschoolers all go to classes in our Preschool area in our main building and are grouped according to age. Preschool care for our worship services is in the same area so they don’t have to go anywhere between Connection Groups and worship.
Grade-School Children
Grade-school children meet in the classrooms on the first floor of our activities building. They are grouped according to their grade level with promotion happening each fall around the 1st of September.
Teenagers
Our teenagers start each Sunday together in our fellowship hall. They get some hang out time and we get to share some announcements and prayer before heading off to class. Most often, we split according to gender but occasionally we will split into a middle school group and a high school group.
Adults
Adult Connection Group grouping is a little harder to explain. The best way to figure it out is to try it! We have lots of classes but no hard and fast age or gender guidelines. Most of our classes do have a sort of identity — grandparents and retirees, 20-somethings, parents of grade-school children, etc. — but no class is exclusively anything. You are welcome to try several and see which one fits you best.
